The original box of AMI must has been preinstalled or installed in original audio host, and which is usually installed in the copilot's glove box or center armrest box, please check the configure list of the car before you order.
Transmits audio from device to car stereo only. It won't display album list or control the device. (i.e you have to change songs on the i-Phone itself).
AMI is located next to the CD Changer, or located underneath the center armrest. For AUDI ,A6, A8 in the glove box, Q7 in the center console.

This cable ONLY fits for vehicles equipped with AMI. Some new audi vw model don't have AMI interface, please check whether there is an AMI interface on your car before order it.
