This beautiful shawl pin has been handcrafted from 100% pure copper. The coil measures approximately 6cm by 4.5cm (2 1/4 inches by 1 7/8 inches) and the pin measures approximately 10cm in length with the head measuring 1.4cm in width (4 inches by 9/16 inches). It is lightweight enough to be worn on knitwear without weighing it down, but sturdy enough to be secure. It's a perfect gift for someone who wants to adorn their knitwear with something a unique. This pin can also be worn as a hair barrette when the season for ves, shawls and wraps is still a while away. Copper is a wonderful metal to wear. It is used to celebrate a 7th wedding anniversary and has a beautiful earthy colour. It contains no additives so is safe for most y sufferers and is even thought to help with . If worn next to the skin there may be some discolouration of the skin. This is a natural phenomenon which is not harmful in any way and the colour can be simply washed away with soap and water.
