These worked amazing for us while camping

Just picked up the 5-set of these last week and used them on a 2-day shoot over the weekend. I was a little hesitant goin in to be honest - they are the cheapest option on the market - so wasn't sure how the quality would be. Turns out it was great and I was thoroughly impressed. We were at about 100yards distance and still connected great. Would drop connection while I was in the elevator but automatically reconnected as soon as the doors opened again. No problems with battery life - was only shooting for roughly 5 hours each day so not sure how long they would have lasted. Absolutely will be recommending these to colleges looking for a similar solution - would buy again and will continue to use them in the future!!

I purchased this intercom headset to communicate with a worker while operating heavy equipment such as tractors, bulldozers and dump trucks. I lost the directions but It didn't matter. They are so simple to operate, a child could figure it out. Pairing between the two headsets was instantaneous. Volume up and down buttons are easy to find while wearing. Range is excellent. They are advertised as 350 meters (1148 feet) line of sight. Where i live I can not create that kind of distance and maintain LOS. I first tested with one person inside a log house with triple pane windows while I walked away until losing connection. I was able to go 400 feet before it dropped. walking back about 8 feet and they synced back up. I will rarely go beyond this distance but I have no doubt they will go what is advertised when both headsets are outside. The audio stayed perfectly clear the shole way as well. The noise cancelation works very well. I walked right by a gas generator and the other person said his audio remained quite the whole time. It also was very windy and he said it was barely noticeable. Not only did it work well, it didn't degrade the audio quality. What I don't like? Not a deal breaker, but there is a about a 1 second delay from when one person talks and the other hears it. The only reason it's annoying is you can see the persons mouth moving but no audio for a second. If your not watching the other person, no big deal. The only other thing is the ear piece doesn't sit flush on my head. The bottom has a gap around my ear. I adjusted the headset for a while trying to get it to fit. I got it close but not perfect. Not a huge deal because they are super soft and comfortable to wear. Overall, these will be a huge time saver for me not having to walk up to loud machinery and try to yell over all the noise. Now I can communicate with my workers more efficiently while staying at a safe distance. The noise cancelation is great but I am even more impressed with the range. All that while maintaining great audio quality.

I ordered these to use between me and my second shooter for a wedding. At first they felt comfortable and sounded pretty well for what it costs. They don’t feel as durable as other headsets, felt more like a plastic material that I could break if I dropped it from a certain height in accident. Once we started to stand further apart to get different shots and engage in different areas, we started to lose signal pretty quick, it was hard to communicate and get information we needed to share. We only had one day between us since I was outside and he was inside, but there were a lot of open windows instead of thick walls disrupting the connection. If you’re shooting something small and easy where you’ll be close by with your second shooter, I think they would work great, but if there’s times you’ll be separated for a while at a decent distance, then I would suggest investing more into a higher quality set.

I'm giving this 4 stars but I need to break that down by category. Radio - 5 - Good quality, love the pairing, everything just works. This is what it's meant for and it does it well. Note if you update the firmware it takes latency from 180ms to 60ms, a huge difference, also truly removes the master radio for a true mesh. Features/Documentation/Firmware Update - 1 - Obviously there's a language barrier but upgrading firmware on this is a PITA. The firmware I wanted could only be done from windows and not MacOS. Them not following USB-C spec such that the USB-C cable only works one direction is certainly a choice. There's no way for you to know your battery level, you'll know it's 20% or less or above via some audio thing, that's it.

Bought an extra one to go with my other two. Works well for my purpose.

We have purchased the product to use it on a sailing boat. As we are a small crew of two on the boat we need to communicate clearly whilst anchoring, catching a mooring buoy, hoisting sails etc. We found the SYNCO headset extremely comfortable to wear and easy to use, the sound quality is superb and it became our daily routine to use it for all manoeuvres on the boat. GREAT PRODUCT! We recommend it to all sailors 👍

La configurazione è abbastanza semplice, l’unico aspetto secondo me da capire un attimo è il “pairing” delle cuffie e l’associazione del ruolo (Master, LV. 1 o LV. 2). Le batterie sono arrivate già cariche, dunque ho potuto usare le cuffie sin da subito. Ho avuto qualche difficoltà a capire come usare i cuscinetti in schiuma, poiché essi hanno una forma circolare, mentre i padiglioni delle cuffie sono ovali. Nonostante ciò, le cuffie sono comode anche senza cuscinetti, e non ho avuto la necessità di utilizzarli. Ho tenuto le cuffie in testa per qualche ora, e le ho trovate molto comode e salde alla testa. Sul microfono è presente un comodo led verde, che lampeggia quando le cuffie non sono abbinate, mentre diventa fisso quando esse lo sono. La durata della batteria varia un pò in base all’utilizzo effettivo, ma si copre abbastanza bene anche una giornata intera di utilizzo. Non ho ancora avuto modo di provarle su grosse distanze, ma le ho usate a distanza di circa 25/30 metri e non ho avuto alcun problema. Le ho usate anche a distanza di due/tre muri spessi e solidi, e devo dire che un pò ne hanno risentito. Tuttavia il loro utilizzo primario avviene in luoghi aperti e liberi, dunque non è un grosso problema. P.S. sulla confezione è presente un QR code che permette di registrare il prodotto ed estendere il periodo di garanzia!

When my "Synco X Talk" headphones arrived, I immediately went to test them to see what I could expect from them. A colleague was with me, so we tested a few things right away, and I also had the chance to live stream a conference using them. First of all, the build quality is okay, though it didn’t impress me too much. A personal downside is that they don't sit on the ear like proper music-listening headphones. Everything else regarding their external appearance is really good, and the packaging they came in is excellent as well. I'm glad I didn't have to buy an additional case for storing them. As soon as they arrived, we tested the range, which was more than satisfactory. Despite all the possible interference and signal disruption in the city, we managed to test them in a street where our line of sight wasn’t ideal, yet we still maintained communication at a distance of 250 meters. After that, I tried one of the standout features of these headphones, which is noise cancellation. I was genuinely amazed at how well it works, even in very harsh conditions. Another thing that impressed me is the battery life. I read that Synco claims the battery can last 24 hours on a single charge, and when I tested it, I was amazed. We used them for two working days without needing to charge them, which is truly impressive. The sound quality is very good. One thing that "bothered" me, although it’s not a real issue, is the delay the headphones have. Generally, when I’m in the control room and my cameraman colleague is about 20 meters away, the delay isn’t a problem, except when we’re talking within 1 meter of each other. But in that case, there’s a great feature where we can just lift the headphone and automatically mute the microphone, which is awesome. Overall, considering all aspects, I think these headphones are more than good for the price they’re available at. They are really easy to use. I was really impressed, and I hope you will be too.
