Bullet Train [DVD]

DVD works well. Love this film. Very quick, action, funny, a lot of blood, but very amusing

Love this film :-) Have now watched quite a few times and will watch it again. Good characters and an excellent story line. Lots of familiar faces making it even better. I bought this on a whim, popular films not always being as good as advertised but this one was and I do not regret buying it and adding it to my ever growing collection. Totally recommended!

A brilliant film, funny, silly, serious and exciting all at the same tim. Brad Pitt shines as the lead Hitman on a train full of hitmen (and women). A funny story of coincidences, intrigue, a little mystery and a lot of action. Well worth watching a few times as you will notice lots of little things on the second and third viewings.

Love this film.

An excellent movie & a fun stylish action thriller, I am pleased with my purchase, thanks.

If you like bonkers action films and aren't serious about reality then this is a great film. From the same director of Atomic Blonde, one of my favourite films, the cast is good, the story dives back and forth but makes sense in the end.

Unusual film, brilliantly put together. Definitely heading for cult status.

is a 2022 American action comedy film directed by David Leitch from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz, starring Brad Pitt, and produced by Antoine Fuqua, who initially conceived the film. It is based on the 2010 novel Maria Beetle (titled Bullet Train in its UK and US edition), written by Kōtarō Isaka and translated by Sam Malissa, the second novel in Isaka's Hitman trilogy, of which the first novel was previously adapted as the 2015 Japanese film Grasshopper. Pitt portrays a begrudging assassin who must battle fellow killers while riding a fictionalized version of the bullet train Tokaido Shinkansen. The film also features an ensemble supporting cast including Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, and Sandra Bullock. Principal photography began in Los Angeles in November 2020 and wrapped in March 2021. Bullet Train premiered in Paris on July 18, 2022 and was theatrically released in the United States on August 5, 2022, by Sony Pictures Releasing. The film was a box office success grossing $239.3 million worldwide on a production budget of around $90 million. The film received mixed reviews from critics. A very good action comedy ( I laughed) the cast looked like they were having fun and so did I watching it.

Absolut genialer Film. Ironie, Witz, Action ... geile Story einfach, Schauspieler mega gut!

Eine Absolute Perle von Film. Erinnert irgendwie an einen Tarantino, einfach der Hammer. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen und ein must have für jeden Kino Liebhaber.

I've seen the movie on cinema, and I've liked it so much I wanted to add it to my Blu-Ray collection. If you like action movies, this one has it all: action, story and original funny moments that don't feel like clichés. I've seen the Full HD Blu-Ray. As expected, the Blu-Ray quality was up there. I don't have a 4K player or TV at the moment, but, from most 4K bundles, I know the extras are usually on the Full HD Blu-Ray disk. There are some extra clips on the Blu-Ray, but they feel rushed, not really showing precise stunts, in-depth train set or in-depth interviews with the actors, it feels more like a demo, everyone enjoying the ex-stunt director, the characters and each other. For the little extra I've subtracted one star. Later edit: I've seen the 4K UHD HDR version. It looks nice. No extras on this one, if you don't count something about some texted commentary you can enable, which I didn't bother to. Final verdict 4/5.
