I know the use is for adults, I have been using it in my shih tzu for In between grooming sessions. Works great for both people and animals.

I no longer get around so well and trips into the barber shop have become a challenge so I thought I would give this a try. This comb is so simple and does a fantastic job, in fact I think a better job than a $25 cut. So now I'll cut my own hair as often as I like and I've eliminated the stress of struggling to walk into the barber shop. I'll be ordering a spare or two to have on hand the next time I do an Amazon order. A really happy purchase.

I bought this for my xolo (hairless dog) who has a messy mohawk, some facial hair, and long ear hair. She likes her ears combed and the comb side is great for that. The smaller razor works well on her mohawk, but I wish one side cut closer for grooming her face. The only negative for me is both blades have the same depth so a close cut isn't really possible. The plastic is not flimsy so I expect it to hold up for quite a while.

Where has this thing been all my life?! My hair length was around 3” down past my shoulders. I wore it up in a clip all the time. I realized cutting it short would make a lot of sense. I work outside on landscaping a lot and don’t like hair getting in my face. I used reg hair scissors to remove the bulk of length. Then started working with this razor comb till I got it to the length I wanted and started texturing, working up to crown. I used a new set of thinning shears on the bangs. I use Woods Hair Glue for men to style it. My daughter said it looked like a professional had done it.😉

Great item. More sturdy than I imagined. Easy to get the hang of. I’m using it on newly short hair and it gives me more time between appointments. Keeps my lines soft and clean looking. Sharp, durable, easy to use! Great value.

I needed something to cut the hair down on my dog's throat area so I could use the correction collar again. He's afraid of everything so I thought this being just a comb, I could get away with it. But I worked on that little patch of his neck for almost 10 minutes, combing from different directions and I just gave up. You have to clean the comb of hair after every 2 or 3 passes. The hair blocks the razor and it won't let it cut anymore. It will thin the hair down but doesn't let you get close to the skin no matter how many times you go at it. I won't return it because it's only $9 but save yourself the trouble and the money and forget about this if you have a similar idea in mind.

Bought to use on a neighbor's cat. Poor thing was terribly matted. (Yes, the neighbor got a Lecture about that.) Taking the cat to a groomer was not an option due to medical reasons. Going to the vet was extremely traumatic for the poor mew. So I found this razor-comb and decided to give it a try before pushing for a vet visit. I've done some simple cat grooming when I worked for a vet, so was confident in my ability to use the comb without injuring the cat. Note: It is better to take your matted animal to a professional groomer. Do Not use this comb for de-matting animals if taking them to a professional is an option. I used it out of desperation to get the cat de-matted without undo stress to the animal, and I had prior experience with shaving cats. I knew what I was doing. It took two weeks of VERY CAREFUL "little at a time" work, but the cat was successfully de-matted. The comb performed better than I expected. The animal was not injured at all. The thickness of the razor-teeth plus being Very Careful meant just fur was cut, not kitty skin. I am pleased with the comb's performance.

I am surprised by and delighted with this tool, which continues to prove amazingly useful in taming my wavy, unruly hair. Indeed, it’s so effective that, with the added use of an Equinox razor-edge 6.5 inch hair cutting scissors (also available on Amazon) for straight and curved trimming at the ears and neck, I’m now able to address my own hair-styling needs and avoid the expense and frequent frustration at the outcome of a trip to the barber shop. Truly outstanding.

Although this is for thick hair, and I have very fine hair, this works great for trims and undercuts. Be careful not to use too much pressure or you'll end up cutting chunks out. 🫣 YouTube how to use and it's amazing what it can do!

This comb works great to thin out hair. I cut my own hair and this comb makes it much easier to thin out the hair on the back of my head.

I use this occasionally to take some tots from my little Yorkie and also to get some tats out of my hair and occasionally just to trim my bangs. It's sharp and works well. I am very happy with it
