Hi, thank you for our suggestion. The widths for the large files 20mm, 20mm and 7mm(the round file). And the widths for the small files are between 3-7mm. More details are on the video.

Are these good for fixing stripped screws?

Not sure about fixing stripped screws. I use a screw-out kit for those but I can tell you, these are quality files and are aggressive enough to remove some serious metal if that’s what you’re going for. I mainly use them for tool sharpening.

What is the diameter of the smallest round diamond file?

There are two sets of files in this set, one is steel grooved and the other has a "diamond dust" abrasive surface. They both have a tapered shaft. The maximum diameter of the smallest round steel grooved file is 3.0 +/- 0.3 mm. The maximum diameter of the smallest round diamond dust file is 2.0 +/- 0.2mm. These diameters were measured by making three holes in paper with each type of file. Hole diameters were measured with a transparent Sargent Welch mm ruler. Values given are averages of these three trials. Just another note: On my set, the tip of smallest round diamond dust file has a small bead of steel covered with diamond dust. This creates a larger initial hole, a "snag" when beginning a puncture, and again when removing the file from the work. I doubt that every set has this flaw, but I would check your set carefully when you receive it. I have used this set in jewelry making. It is useful for gross work (filing off spurs, etc.). For very fine work, you will probably need a different set. For routine metal working this set should be useful. I hope you find this helpful
