Does model 18110 have a converter to adapt to a 2 inch receiver?

It does have an adapter but it makes it sit a a pretty severe angle.

Is the 2 inch shank loose?

Not trying to be snarky but define loose. The [metal] shank is 1 1/4” and it comes with a polymer slip-on adapter to build it up to 2”. No, $100 powder coated (that adds surface variability) cargo tray is going to be a precision machined thing of beauty. There also needs to be a certain amount of clearance allowed for mounting to the many brands of receivers. Bottom line? It works. It’s solid. Got me through a 2500km move and I’m still using it.

Would a 48x20 carrier bag fit?

I believe it would especially if it's a soft bag. measure. Have a Tractor Supply box on it. The tray might be 300lbs capacity, but the tongue weight of the hitch is 200lbs so go with the lesser neasure.

This one extends a decent amount. Has two holes- one threaded and another for a hitch pin.
