what is length of jacket in inches?

Mine is 22 inches from the top of the stand up collar(which is 1.25 " high) to the bottom of jacket- down the center in back

It's waist length. Kind of like a jacket

Because of the fitted look of the jacket I went up a size and it fits perfectly. I don't think you could wear a heavy top under it. So the jacket is great for fall/spring but I don't think it would be warm enough in winter. It is better looking in person too. Hope this helps.

In the black one, is the hardware gold or silver?

The hardware is gold. It’s a nice rich yellow gold, matches the gold accents on my Michael Kors bag.
